Happy Fill Our Staplers Day University Ridge!

We’ve decided to extend our game throughout the entire fall semester! Come to the Ridge Community Center and guess the number of pieces of candy in the jar. The closest guess not only wins all of the candy, but also a $50 gift card to Walmart!! Guesses are $1 each and all of the money is donated to The United Way. Guess as many times as you want!

Through most of October, the Ridge was running an important survey to get as much feedback from students who are living at the Ridge as possible. The information that was gathered will be looked at and considered as we move forward and make changes at the Ridge. As an incentive, we would give two students, selected at random, a VISA gift card for $250…and we have the winners!!!

Jasmine Lewis and Alisha Rohrer! You are each $250 richer! Please come to the community center between 8am and 4pm Monday through Friday with your ID to collect your prize!

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past year and half, you know that in a few short days America will be voting for a new president! Students who live at University Ridge AND who used their Ridge apartment address when registering to vote should be voting at JTL Intermediate School. (Check your voter ID card for your exact polling place.) For your convenience, we have hired a shuttle (in addition to the regularly running shuttles) to transport students to their polling place.

On November 8th the voting shuttle will be running between noon and 7pm. It will make stops at the Ridge, across from the University Bookstore, JTL school, and the Salvation Army, which is another polling station for some ESU students. The shuttle is free to ESU students. If you have any questions about the shuttle, please stop in at the Ridge community center.
